He went on to win a World Series ring in 1997 with the Florida Marlins before retiring that year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">In July 2013, Daulton had surgery to remove two tumors in his brain, and two weeks later announced that he was suffering from glioblastoma \u2014 an aggressive form of brain cancer.
