John Hurt previously portrayed the character in the original two films in 2004 and 2008.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Neil Marshall is set to direct the movie, which will centER on Hellboy going up against a medieval sorceress. Production is slated to begin filming in September (17) in the U.K. and Bulgaria, according to The Hollywood Reporter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The new film will be the third in the franchise, which previously starred Ron Perlman as Hellboy, with Guillermo del Toro serving as filmmaker.
