Hirsch Bedner Associates conceived the newly designed spaces and residential-styled guestrooms taking inspiration from Nikko\u2019s Japanese heritage and the fluid lines of a traditional kimono. Each of the airy and bright new suites and guestrooms is finished in with understated color palate of earthy neutral tones. The renovations encompass 405 of 533 guestrooms and suites, structural upgrades to the lobby, public areas, third floor ballroom and meeting spaces, as well as large-scale improvements to the hotel\u2019s overall infrastructure. Led by designer Oren Bronstein, the hotel\u2019s landmark 1950\u2019s fa\u00e7ade inspired the renovations—resulting in retro-inspired custom furnishings and a distinctly chic vibe. This charming neighborhood property has 49 guestrooms (some with kitchenettes) and is near to the Golden Gate Park and some of the city\u2019s best dining.
