Donald Trump Jr. Just Publicly Humiliated Himself While Gloating About Georgia Election<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Of all the consequences of the Trump presidency, the elevation of his son Donald Jr. into the national spotlight is certainly one of the most insufferable. The slick-haired, obnoxious, nepotism beneficiary maintains an active social media presence, constantly antagonizing his father\u2019s opponents.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the wake of yesterday\u2019s special election in Georgia, in which Republican Karen Handel defeated Democrat Jon Ossoff, Donald Jr. once again took to Twitter to spew his nonsense:<\/span><\/p>\n

Since Junior is a Trump, it should come as no surprise that he\u2019s lying. Handel is not the first woman representative from Georgia. Rather, she is the first Republican woman to become a Georgia representative.<\/span><\/p>\n

Past female reps from the peach state have been Democrats. That is to say, they were members of the party that supports healthcare for women, a woman\u2019s right to choose, and better maternity care for mothers. There are currently 104 women in Congress, of which 74.7% are Democrats.<\/span><\/p>\n

Per usual, the Trumps are embracing and spreading nonfacts. Their entire success is predicated on a gross disavowment of the truth. But despite Donald Trump Jr.\u2019s attempts, the historical record shows that women from Georgia have served in Congress in the past. His inane tweets don\u2019t erase their contributions to this country.<\/span><\/p>\n
