Traditionally the tournament is played with CONMEBOL&#39;s 10 teams plus two invited teams from North or Central America.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Talk was also &quot;maturing&quot; with European body UEFA about meshing their calendars to allow the winner of the Copa America to play a match against the winner of the European Championships, said Dominguez.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Soccer&#39;s world governing body FIFA announced in January that it would increase the World Cup tournament from 32 teams to 48.
