Police say Garcia fatally shot his 7-year-old, who relatives identified as Yaxtel Tapia, before turning the gun on himself, according to news station KSBW.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">It is not clear what the motive was behind the murder-suicide.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Before the shooting, Garcia had been shopping with his family when he disappeared with his daughter.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">His wife called 911 around 3:15 p.m. to report that he was making suicidal threats from inside their car parked outside of Macy&rsquo;s.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Police responded Sunday afternoon to find man and 7-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds in the family&rsquo;s Kia Soul.
