It stopped.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">In a test for reporters, one bus cruised a block-long circuit so consistently that it created a dirt track on the tarmac.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">California legislators late last year passed a law to allow <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\">slow-speed<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"> testing of fully autonomous vehicles without steering wheels or pedals on public roads, with the Bishop Ranch test in mind.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">The shuttle buses will test for a few months in the parking lots before operators apply for Department of Motor Vehicles approval under the new law.
