We apologize for the inconvenience.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; United (@united) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/united\/status\/823336113515462656\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 23, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">U.S. officials on Sunday told NBC that the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, or ACARS, was having issues with low bandwidth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The airline tweeted that an &#8220;IT issue&#8221; had caused the problem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">United spokeswoman Maddie King told CNN, &#8220;We are working as quickly as possible to resolve this issue and get our customers to their final destinations.
