7 Smartphones To Look Out For In The Coming Year:-<\/strong> In the coming year, we expect many new smartphones \u2014 it is the year that Nokia comes back and Apple celebrates the 10th anniversary of its iPhone. Samsung will try to bounce back from the Note 7 fiasco, while OnePlus would hope to build on the success it had with the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. All in all, going by what we know so far, 2017 should be an exciting year for smartphone users.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are seven smartphones you can look forward to in the coming year:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. iPhone 8:<\/strong> The 10th anniversary iPhone is expected to break previous sales records. It is expected to come with features such as OLED display, wireless charging, a display-embedded fingerprint sensor and a multi-sensor camera.<\/span><\/p>\n

With iPhone 8, Apple is rumored to ditch the home button that has been universal across all its iPhones until now. The handset\u2019s expected all-glass design will not only have an aesthetic value, but is also expected to support wireless charging.<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing Apple is likely to improve is its camera. The company has already got a patent for a \u201csuper resolution\u201d multi-sensor camera registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, but it remains to be seen whether we would see the feature in the upcoming smartphone.<\/span><\/p>\n

The iPhone 8 is expected to release in September\/October 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Samsung Galaxy S8:<\/strong> Samsung\u2019s next flagship device \u2014 the S8 \u2014 is a highly anticipated phone. The device, which is expected to be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2017, might be a complete revamp of the company\u2019s current S7 device.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rumored Galaxy S8 features include the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

A bezel-less design with no home button: This will be a first for Samsung flagships. In its place, the phone is expected to have a display-embedded fingerprint scanner. An edge-to-edge display might cover the screen, eliminating the top and bottom bezels.<\/span><\/p>\n

4K UHD display: The phone is expected to have a display capable of not just playing 4K content, but also high-resolution virtual reality (VR) content.<\/span><\/p>\n

An artificial intelligence-based voice assistant: Samsung is expected to tow the line of the Google Pixel series and trade in its S Voice feature for an AI-based voice assistant.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. OnePlus 4:<\/strong> The OnePlus 3 successor is expected to have a similar design, but is said to offer much more under the hood. It is expected to come with 8 GB RAM, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 128 GB of internal storage and 4000 mAh battery.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is expected to launch in summer 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Samsung Galaxy Note 8:<\/strong> After the disastrous Note 7 scandal, many expected Samsung to kill the Note series. That might not be happening. The company indicated the release of a Note 8 device in 2017 in a press release issued in October.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new device might be very different from the Note 7. Samsung is expected to come out with two versions of the device \u2014 a dual-screen one and a foldable one. While the dual-screen device is expected to have two OLED displays placed on the outer side of the device, the foldable device is expected to be based on a design listed in a Samsung patent.<\/span><\/p>\n

No expected release date is available for the device.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Nokia Android phone:<\/strong> It has been a long time coming, but a Nokia Android phone is finally expected to release in 2017. The phone might run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not expected to compete with high-end smartphones; rather it might have budget smartphone features such as a 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 505 GPU, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of onboard memory. One rumored feature stands out from the rest \u2014 the device is expected to sport a 22.6 megapixel camera based on the technology used in Nokia PureView 808 and the Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nokia might unveil the device at MWC 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Microsoft Surface smartphone:<\/strong> Microsoft might add another feather to its popular Surface line of devices \u2014 a smartphone.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Microsoft Surface phone is expected to be the \u201cultimate mobile device.” Rumored features include a laptop-grade processor capable of running 64-bit apps compatible with Microsoft Continuum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other details about the device, including its availability, are not known yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

7. HTC 11:<\/strong> The HTC 10 successor is expected to have a 5.5-inch screen with QHD display resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB onboard storage, a 12 megapixel dual-camera and a 3700 mAh battery.<\/span><\/p>\n
