KIM Kardashian\u2019s best friend Jonathan Cheban has slammed claims she\u2019s set to divorce husband Kanye West.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The star insisted he wasn\u2019t aware of any split rumours, and he\u2019d just spoken to the couple himself moments before, reports The Sun.<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes after sensational claims emerged that Kim is planning to file for divorce \u2018when the time is right\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to US Weekly, a friend to the Kardashians claimed: \u201cIt will take some time before she can do anything. She doesn\u2019t want to stay married.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The insider added that Kim won\u2019t make any decisions until Kanye is fully recovered, stating: \u201cShe\u2019s being a supportive wife. She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he\u2019s getting the help he needs but she\u2019s felt trapped for a while.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, Jonathan has hit back at the claims, telling the Mail Online: \u201cIt\u2019s kinda funny to me,\u201d before adding: \u201cI didn\u2019t know there was rumours about it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonathan went on: \u201cI didn\u2019t hear any rumours today, \u2019cause I\u2019ve been busy, but it\u2019s \u2014 I mean, I just literally got off the phone with them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He then clarified he had been on Facetime with the couple, who are currently taking time out from the limelight following Kanye\u2019s hospitalisation in November because of a mental breakdown.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Kim has reportedly been doing all she can to help aid the rapper\u2019s recovery, US sources are claiming that the reality star is \u2018unhappy\u2019 in the relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been widely speculated that the couple may be experiencing marital issues after it was claimed that the rapper is living apart from his wife and their two kids \u2014 North, three, and Saint, 12 months \u2014 as he receives outpatient care following his 10-day stay in UCLA Medical Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

A source told People magazine: \u201cKim is being very protective and doesn\u2019t want Kanye around the kids right now.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cKanye\u2019s behaviour took a huge toll on their marriage. But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him \u2014 and help their marriage.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

While another source added: \u201cHe is receiving outpatient care else with a medical team. Kim still seems concerned but is supportive.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care \u2026 There are frustrations and problems, like any relationship, but they love each other deeply.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it has also been reported that Kanye was allowed to attend the low key 1st birthday party for the couple\u2019s son, Saint.<\/span><\/p>\n
