The Most Mariah Carey Moments from Mariah’s World:-<\/strong> Mariah Carey\u2018s world is just a sweet, sweet fantasy, baby.<\/span><\/p>\n

The singer\u2019s new reality series Mariah\u2019s World premiered Sunday on E! and it was full of amazing moments that only The Elusive Chanteuse could get away with.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recording artists have been known to adopt alter egos from time to time \u2014 remember Chris Gaines? No? Just us then \u2014 but none of them compare to the brunette diva Carey played (and battled) in her 1999 music video for \u201cHeartbreaker.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Carey once again puts on the persona of her \u201c<\/span>arch nemesis\u201d to introduce the series.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t describe Maria because I think she\u2019s done well enough on her own,\u201d Bianca says, intentionally using the wrong name for Carey. \u201cThe world doesn\u2019t know how awful she really is.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Only Carey could get away with something so perfectly ridiculous.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swimming in diamonds \u2014 and a gown!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWell, at least I wasn\u2019t wearing heels,\u201d Carey says after slipping on the stairs and letting out a yelp. \u201cThat\u2019s what I do when I\u2019m about to fall, I just scream into a high note.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After recovering from her misstep, Carey announces she\u2019s going to \u201chave a splash.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh, the agony! I\u2019m on a yacht and I have to go on a swing in diamonds and a dress,\u201d she muses before being pushed off the edge of her boat in Capri, Italy. \u201cWhatever, this is perfectly normal and everyone does this.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Her son Moroccan, 5, was worried: \u201cMommy, you\u2019re going to get <\/span>a cold!\u201d But the singer is shown gliding through the water.<\/span><\/p>\n

She looks like a mermaid, but she wasn\u2019t graceful enough to meet her own high standards.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe dress makes it a bit <\/span>difficulty to move <\/span>ones legs, okay?\u201d she says.<\/span><\/p>\n

It takes a village to dress Ms. Mimi.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is taking me a minute to put these shoes on,\u201d Carey explains as two people try and get her lace-up heel on her and a makeup artist applies highlighter. \u201cThey always have to get so cute and then they can\u2019t go on right.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOprah told me, \u2018Don\u2019t let anybody think that you don\u2019t know how to put your shoes on anymore.\u2019 And she\u2019s really right,\u201d she says. \u201cThe problem is, these shoes are abusive and I can\u2019t put them on alone. I\u2019m not going to lie about it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The help needs help.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Okay, this last one is not actually something Carey does, but it\u2019s worth mentioning.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Carey head to Europe to kick off her tour, her new assistant, Molly, is tasked with installing the singer\u2019s Apple TV.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spoiler alert: it doesn\u2019t go well.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Apple TV \u2014 that\u2019s the most important thing for Ms. MC,\u201d explains Molly. \u201cIf she can\u2019t have the Apple TV playing while she\u2019s sleeping, then she can\u2019t sleep. If she can\u2019t sleep, she can\u2019t perform. If she can\u2019t perform, there\u2019s no show. If it\u2019s not there, everything else falls apart.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After getting the hotel staff to help get the TV wired up, Molly still can\u2019t get things to work and dissolves in tears \u2014 which is breaking one of the rules set for her by Carey\u2019s manager, Stella Bulochnikov. (The other rule is no dating during her first year of working for Carey. She breaks that one too.)<\/span><\/p>\n
