Was it you, Chris Harrison?<\/span><\/p>\n In a twist so dramatic it might make your head spin, Ben Higgins<\/strong> told his fianc\u00e9e, Lauren Bushnell, that their wedding was back on during the finale of their reality show Tuesday night.<\/span><\/p>\n Previously on Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?<\/span>,\u00a0 Ben burst Lauren\u2019s dream bubble of an upcoming televised wedding because he thought they needed more time to get to know each other. Oh, the things men forget to mention when they propose to you on national television\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n But a trip to Las Vegas for their bachelor and bachelorette parties provided clarity for the untapped sweater model.<\/span><\/p>\n After spending the majority of his time with his friends making awkward toasts and giving a sample for a sperm count, Ben finally broke the news to his bros, included Jared Haibon, Tanner Tolbert, and JJ Lane, that he had called off the wedding.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe had this grandiose plan right away,\u201d Ben said, \u201cfrom The Bachelor, like let\u2019s get married as fast as we can. Let\u2019s just start this thing, and we\u2019ve realized that that\u2019s not the smartest idea. That was a very unwise place for us to come from, and so we had to call off our plans for the wedding, take a step back and build our relationship.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n His friends were shocked and saddened, but they managed to pull their emotions together enough to make it to dinner.<\/span><\/p>\n Where was Lauren\u2019s head this episode? Despite getting mani-pedis with her women-<\/span>tourage, which included Emily and Haley Ferguson, Amanda Stanton, and Ashley Iaconetti, she couldn\u2019t help but wonder about her future with Ben. \u201cPart of me wonders if he called the wedding off because I\u2019m not good enough,\u201d she confided in the camera,<\/em> \u201cor because he can\u2019t see life with me. And part of me also wonders if he\u2019s going to end things completely.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Back at dinner, Ben said he missed Lauren, and his friends let him know they had a surprise waiting for him \u2013 a montage of moments with Lauren displayed on a marquee that the lifestyle blogger was watching at the same time from another location. After the video played, Ben called Lauren and asked her to meet him.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI know that these last couple weeks have been hard and confusing and tiring,\u201d he said when they were reunited, \u201cand sometimes something we both can\u2019t understand. But through it all, I want you to know that I never thought for a second I could live a day without you in might sight. Lauren, I\u2019m gonna be your husband. Lauren, you\u2019re gonna be Mrs. Higgins.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Because, just like us, Lauren had no idea what was happening, she asked, \u201cDoes this mean that the wedding is back on?<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOf course it is,\u201d Ben said. Of course? Really, Ben, was it that obvious?<\/span><\/p>\n Then she told Ben he was her person, as she does, to which he replied, \u201cYou\u2019re my person.
