Mariah Carey\u2019s upcoming reality show, \u2018Mariah\u2019s World\u2019, features some difficult segments, including footage of the pop diva trying on wedding dresses! Now that she\u2019s called off her engagement to fianc\u00e9 James Packer, it\u2019s just heartbreaking! <\/span><\/p>\n Less than one year ago, Mariah Carey, 46, was planning the wedding of her dreams to the guy of her dreams, James Packer, 49. Mariah and James broke off their engagement in October 2016, but footage of their happier times together still exists in the eight episodes of Mariah\u2019s World, her upcoming docs-series. It\u2019s difficult to watch, to say the least!<\/span><\/p>\n Mariah\u2019s World is all about the fun and fabulous life Mariah leads, but at the time that the show was filmed, that included wedding planning. That means a segment still exists that\u2019s particularly heartbreaking in retrospect, given current events: Mariah watching herself try on wedding dresses. She\u2019s giddy with excitement, swishing around a pretty veil and wondering if this dress is the one she\u2019ll wear down the aisle to marry James. She looks so lovely!<\/span><\/p>\n Mariah opened up to Entertainment Tonight about how watching some of that footage now is difficult. Understandable! \u201cAll of those moments are bittersweet, but you just have to focus on whatever you\u2019re focusing on and keep it moving,\u201d Mariah said. She\u2019s right! We\u2019re getting the real Mariah in this show, and that means not editing out important parts of her life.<\/span><\/p>\n Mariah\u2019s going to be just fine, though. While it just wasn\u2019t meant to be with James, she\u2019s reportedly dating her hotter than a hot backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka. Not too shabby, girl!
