Being a prominent reality TV show couple, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell want to be shown in the best possible light in the hopes that viewers will connect with them, allowing their TV show to continue on for another season.<\/span><\/p>\n That seemed to be the case on Ben & Lauren Happily Ever After? Season 1 Episode 7 when the pair celebrated their first anniversary by giving back.<\/span><\/p>\n Yeah, we’re going to keep it vague until we get to the part with them actually giving back.<\/span><\/p>\n The couple really went through a whole lot of emotional drama last week. There were therapy sessions, arguments and Ben calling the wedding off.<\/span><\/p>\n It made sense to show a lighter side to their relationship this week. Things have just been a little too serious for us to really sit back and enjoy this Freeform series.<\/span><\/p>\n With that in mind, we’re now fully on board with the couple taking things slower. Without the pressure of the wedding hanging over them, it was time for their anniversary celebrations.<\/span><\/p>\n Now, some couples like to go all out in order to be super romantic, but Ben and Lauren decided the best course of action would be to give back to someone who really needed and deserved it.<\/span><\/p>\n Lauren took to the power of the internet to find the lucky person that she and Ben would be rewarding. She quickly found the lucky person<\/span><\/p>\n Her name was Ranya and she had devoted her whole life helping out our troops and their families. Whether it was fresh food, living needs, or even moral support, Ranya was all too happy to help.<\/span><\/p>\n Helping everyone else meant that Ranya’s home was not up to the standard she would have liked, so Ben and Lauren sent her on her way on a relaxing getaway to give them the power over what would become of her house.<\/span><\/p>\n What was so great about the makeover, was seeing just how people from a community can come together to complete a project for a very deserving woman.<\/span><\/p>\n If you watch Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? online, you’ll know that twins, Emily and Haley Ferguson have served as some much-needed comic relief from all of the relationship drama.<\/span><\/p>\n It was amazing they were on tap to help with the project. With time running out, some troops stepped in to ensure the home was finished for Ranya’s return.<\/span><\/p>\n It looked fantastic and Ranya could not have been more thankful for this act of kindness that changed her life forever.<\/span><\/p>\n Ben and Lauren then disappeared to celebrate what was left of their anniversary. During an emotional dinner that gave us a little too many feels, Ben gave Lauren back the pendant she gave him on The Bachelor.<\/span><\/p>\n There was an addition to it, however. Ben got both of their names engraved on it, so Lauren could carry them both with her when they were apart. You can’t deny that it was totally cute. Right?<\/span><\/p>\n The couple then recapped their exciting year, before getting VERY emotional. They admitted they could not live without each other, and admitted he might have made a mistake calling the wedding off.<\/span><\/p>\n Yikes.<\/span><\/p>\n Why did they end it like that?
