One or more officers opened fire and hit him in the waist when he moved toward them with a gun, according to police.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">An emergency crew later airlifted him to a hospital, where his condition was unknown. No word on Harshman\u2019s condition was immediately available, either.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Police discovered the two bodies in the home after searching for the gunman who opened fire in the attorney\u2019s office roughly five miles away. Investigators had yet to confirm links between the separate scenes or the identities of the suspect and victims Wednesday night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Miami-Dade police announced on Twitter that the department was responding to reports of a shooting and promised to provide available details later on Wednesday. A representative for the department said Wednesday afternoon that the situation was &#8220;still very fluid&#8221; and no more details were available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Harshman once represented Jabado in an October 2012 foreclosure case, according to court records cited by WTVJ. The website of the Law Offices of Larry A. Harshman, P.A., said the firm works on commercial and residential real estate transactions and litigation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Police told the Miami Herald that Harshman was undergoing surgery after suffering a wound to his stomach in his office on N. Kendall Drive. Investigators believe Jabado shot Harshman and sped away in a silver Chevrolet truck around 10:30 a.m. after the killing in the home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Police imposed a lockdown at three schools until they found children of Jabado\u2019s safe and unharmed, the Herald reported. Investigators were searching for clues at the home where they discovered the two slain people, a police source told the newspaper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u201cWe found them in the house. They\u2019re deceased.
