Fuze case for iPhone 7 wants to bring back the jack<\/strong> : This sneaky little accessory puts a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter and an extended battery pack onto the bottom of a single, contained case for the Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. It’s been a few weeks since the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus went on sale, which means some owners are already sick of carrying around the headphone adapter. And unless you’ve picked up a pair of Lightning headphones for yourself, you’re probably either hating the dongle life right now or rigging some other ways to output audio from the smartphone.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’re desperately looking for a way to get back the jack, there’s a clever iPhone case up for grabs on Indiegogo that could ease your pain.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fuze for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is such a basic accessory, you’ll probably wonder why you didn’t think of it first: it’s a protective case that has a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter built-in, thus eliminating the need for an external dongle entirely.<\/span><\/p>\n

The bottom has separate ports for Lightning and headphone plugs and Fuze’s “Sync-Through” technology lets you juice up and listen to music at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, that also means the case is slightly longer and beefier, but not by much: it adds 0.2 inch (5mm) to the overall thickness and 2.9 ounces (28 grams) of additional weight to the phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

To sweeten the deal, Fuze throws a power pack into the case that can double the iPhone’s life over the course of a day. The battery size for the iPhone 7 model is 2,400mAh while the iPhone 7 Plus case is measured at 3,600mAh.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fuze case comes in five colors (white, black, gold, rose gold and blue), and the company is offering an assortment of special prices for early backers.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you can wait another few months, the cases are projected to ship in December for a set price of $69 (\u00a355, AU$90) for both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus versions.<\/span><\/p>\n
