Sofia Vergara Tops 2016 World\u2019s Highest-Paid TV Actresses List for Fifth Year in a Row<\/strong> : It\u2019s good to be Sofia Vergara.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 44-year-old actress took top honors on Wednesday, when Forbes released their \u201cWorld\u2019s Highest-Paid TV Actresses\u201d list of 2016. The Modern Family star was ranked number one for the fifth year in a row, bringing in a whopping $43 million this year before management fees and taxes \u2013 which according to the magazine, is also more than any television male actor has made.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vergara\u2019s multiple lucrative endorsements are responsible for her impressive earnings, including her deals with Head & Shoulders and CoverGirl.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not surprisingly, the number two spot on Forbes list belongs to 30-year-old Kaley Cuoco, who earned $24.5 million, mostly for her role as Penny in The Big Bang Theory. Cuoco has the biggest TV deal out of any other actress, making $1 million per episode.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year, Vergara and Cuoco actually tied for the number one spot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rounding out the top five highest-paid actresses list of 2016 are Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) with $15 million, and Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) and Ellen Pompeo (Grey\u2019s Anatomy), who tied for the number four spot with $14.5 million each.<\/span><\/p>\n

But there\u2019s a chance that Cuoco\u2019s days on the list are numbered. Rumors have been swirling that The Big Bang Theory\u2019s 10th season could be the last, as the main stars have only signed contracts through the end of this season.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo be completely honest \u2026 I know people are going to want to know what happens after season 10. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen,\u201d actor Kunal Nayyar (who plays Raj) admitted at the MCM London Comic Con in May.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last month, the close cast took sweet group selfies to celebrate season 10.<\/span><\/p>\n
