font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Douglas Edwards, 46, was arrested near Wilmington Thursday, when Steffany Lenneth Lopez-Castro was discovered in the woods near her mobile home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">The little girl was chained to a tree, according to WNCN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">Lopez-Castro was the subject of a Wednesday night Amber Alert after she went missing, though New Hanover County Sheriff Ed McMahon said that she was doing well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">It was not immediately clear if she knew Edwards before the alleged abduction, which McMahon said was reported as Lopez-Castro being taken by a man on a moped.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">He was convicted of a sexual offense against a 6-year-old in 1996 and served 16-years in prison, according to the North Carolina sex offender registry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;
