Mel Gibson\u2019s Ex Oksana Grigorieva Lost $500,000<\/strong>: Loose lips sink ships \u2014 and lead to major financial losses! Mel Gibson\u2019s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva reportedly lost $500,000 of her $750,000 settlement with the actor after she broke the terms of their agreement by talking about their alleged domestic abuse case in 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to TMZ, the California Court of Appeals recently decided that the 46-year-old singer-songwriter violated the pair\u2019s contract when she sat down on The Howard Stern Show in 2013 to chat about the 60-year-old actor\u2019s violent tendencies.<\/span>

Hence, Gibson will no longer have to pay Grigorieva the remaining balance of their agreed-upon $750,000 settlement. He has already paid her the first of the three installments, totaling $250,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

The couple made headlines in early 2010 after they got caught up in a public fight that Grigorieva claimed turned violent. In July of that same year, recordings of Gibson railing against Grigorieva surfaced, along with reports that the Russian singer had tried to extort Gibson to keep the tapes under wraps.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the time, Grigorieva made the astonishing decision to walk away from the $15 million that Gibson agreed to pay her to keep quiet, thinking she could make more money in other ways. They struck a deal for $750,000 instead. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think Mel, basically, is trivializing domestic violence,\u201d she told RadarOnline of the scandal back in 2010. \u201cIt is unfair that by standing up to somebody \u2014 and speaking out \u2014 I am being victimized all over again. He has hurt so many people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
