Tara Reid Shades Jenny McCarthy After Cringeworthy Interview<\/strong>: \u2018At Least Now People Know You Have a Show\u2019: Tara Reid feels some type of way about THAT interview with Jenny McCarthy.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the two had a hard-to-listen-to exchange on McCarthy\u2019s Sirius XM radio show last month, the Sharknado star suggested the whole thing may have been concocted to drum up publicity.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe never even had beef, so I don\u2019t know where that came from,\u201d the 40-year-old actress told Hollywood Today Live. \u201cI think she actually purposefully did that to get ratings \u2026 It wasn\u2019t like there\u2019s history there, because I\u2019ve never met her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

During the McCarthy interview, Reid \u2013 who was there to promote Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens \u2013 seemed noticeably irritated that McCarthy at points turned the interview to Reid\u2019s stint on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, as well as her thoughts on plastic surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just so silly,\u201d Reid shared. \u201cWe\u2019re here to talk about Sharknado, and to go into stuff that has nothing to do with it\u2026. This is ridiculous.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And clearly, the interview is still a sore spot for Reid, who couldn\u2019t help but to drop a touch of shade.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGood for you Jenny, at least now people know you have a show,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

In case you missed it, Reid was so upset with McCarthy\u2019s line of questioning that she walked off of her show, saying, \u201cIt was really nice talking to you, and really, good luck with your show.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The two had some words for each other as she left, which ended with McCarthy saying, \u201cLove you, Tara,\u201d adding, \u201cGood luck with Sharknado 18.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After the interview, Reid\u2019s rep told ET in a statement, \u201cTara is a positive person who is against women tearing each other down. She was bullied on Jenny\u2019s [show] and felt ambushed. She came into the show with a positive spirit and was in a happy mood. It was very unfortunate how Jenny shifted the conversation for her personal gain when the whole focus should be on Sharknado 4.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
