Shannen Doherty Steps Out With Her Husband Following Third Round of Chemo<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Shannen Doherty’s husband is by her side.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star stepped out with Kurt Iswarienko in Malibu, California, on Wednesday, days after undergoing her third of her planned eight rounds of chemotherapy. <\/span>
\n\u00a0Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015. She revealed in a recent sit-down with ET that it has spread to her lymph nodes.<\/span><\/p>\n

“My marriage was always strong, but it’s made my marriage a thousand times stronger,” the 45-year-old actress shared. “I could not have gotten through this without my husband.” <\/span>
\n\u00a0“He’s never missed a chemo,” she added. <\/span>Doherty, who expects to complete her treatments in October, admitted that despite her support system, the days immediately following treatments are difficult. <\/span>“There’s good days and there’s bad days,” she said. “4-5 days after are horrible, horrible, horrible days.” <\/span><\/p>\n

“I think overall though, I think I’m doing well,” she added. <\/span>But the hardest part, she revealed, is not knowing.<\/span>
\n“The unknown is always the scariest part,” she said. “Pain is manageable … Living without a breast is manageable. It’s the worry of your future, and how your future is going to affect the people that you love.” <\/span>
\n\u00a0For now, Doherty is just trying to find ways to get back to feeling like herself.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Do I wear a scarf, do I wear a wig, do I wear a hat?” she asked. “I haven’t figured that out at all. And I don’t know if I’ll ever look like me again. I’m just gonna look like a new version of me.” <\/span>
