Mercedes-Benz came in the existance when Karl Benz created the first petrol driven car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen, which was financed by Bertha Benz. The mercedes car first came into the market in 1901 released by Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft. The first Mercedes-Benz vehicle came in the market in 1926 after the merging of Karl Benz company and Gottlieb Daimler's company to form a single company named Daimler-Benz company. In 1930 Mercedes-Benz prodduced the 770 model the whole year and was very popular during the Nazi period. Adolf hitler was used to drive this car during his time in power with the car having bulleproof windshield in it. Most of the cars which get through that period are sold to private owners.
