Amazing Monterey California Travel Adventure: The Monterey Bay Area is a great place to take a vacation whether it is for your honeymoon, a romantic getaway or the family. The Monterey Bay area is located about 120 miles south of San Francisco California on the Beautiful Central California Coast and based on your interest offers a variety of activities. <\/span><\/p>\n

You have many options for places to stay in the area as well. We have come up we a few things to do and several locations to stay while in the Monterey Bay Area.<\/span><\/p>\n

The area offers many things to do during your visit. One of the Best things to do in Monterey is, especially for the whole family is visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Located around historic cannery road. The Aquarium offers many exhibits of marine life that <\/span>exist along the Central California coast including the Monterey Bay Habitats, Sea Otters, Giant Pacific Octopus, etc. They also have daily activities including Sea Otter feeding and training Sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another great place to visit is 17 Mile Drive. 17 Mile Drive is a scenic road through Pebble Beach California and Pacific Grove. This road passes some famous golf courses including Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay Golf Courses as well as some famous mansions. You will have many turnouts to stop at along the road to stop, take pictures and stroll along the ocean or trees. <\/span><\/p>\n

There are also plenty of scenic spots to picnic.Golf The Monterey Bay Area has many golf courses for a golfer to choose from. Pebble Beach is ranked #1 of 100 of the best public golf courses to play at and is host to the 2010 and 2019 US Open. Pebble Beach also has three other great courses to play at including Spyglass Hills and the Links at Spanish Bay.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The Green Fees for those courses range between $250-$500, but the experience far exceeds the price. There are also many other courses that are priced $150 and less including the 36 Hole\u00a0 Bayonet and BlackHorse Golf Course in Sea Side.<\/span><\/p>\n
